Babies @ TFH
The Baby Place is a place where the very youngest of our church family are being ministered to by our very own loving families. The Baby Place at TFH is a place where the babies are cared for in a safe environment, a loving place to play, learn, and experience Jesus' love.
We are here helping lay a firm foundation of faith in the lives of babies and toddlers by reading simple Bible stories as they eat a snack and hold toys that go along with the Bible story. We use Cradle Choir curriculum, as well as our very own curriculum, written just for babies. We sing simple worship songs and pray for each child that attends a service in The Baby Place.
The Baby Place is a co-op nursery. A family that utilizes the services of the Baby Place is a part of the co-op. Each family is there to bless other families by serving one another. There are also many other volunteer caregivers who love babies and want to minister to them out of the abundance of love God has given them for babies. We keep the caregiver-to-baby ratio very low at 1:3, so each child gets a lot of attention and love. We also do background checks on everyone that serves in this ministry. Keeping children safe is a high priority. It is a happy place to serve and have families grow closer together.
Childrens Pastor Tammy Pane
Tammy Payne started serving in children's ministry as a teen. She is the Preschool and Nursery Pastor and has served at The Father's House since August 2001. Tammy believes that each child is uniquely made and has an inimitable personality and learning style, which she makes every effort to reach. She enjoys researching trends and child development with a driving passion to minister to the youngest in our church family. Tammy is also a full-time wife of John, mother of three, and grandmother of one.
